Release Notes | Week of December 15 | Apricot 8.45.0

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

This release includes one enhancement and four defect fixes that improve import flexibility, email reliability, system performance, and accessibility across key Apricot features.

Enhancement

Draft Records | Support for Imports

Draft Records now support Imports, giving teams more flexibility when working with incomplete data.

To use this feature, the selected form must be Draft-enabled in Form Properties. When preparing an Import from Record Manager and selecting an Import Type, you’ll now see a new option to Create drafts when required fields are incomplete. This allows records with missing required fields to be saved as drafts during import.

The existing option, Allow incomplete records, is still available and maintains its previous behavior.

Important: Drafts can’t be enabled retroactively for past imports, but the setting applies to all future imports.

Non-draft import options have been updated with clearer language, without changing their underlying behavior.

Fixes

Email Triggers | Attachment Size Handling

We resolved an issue where emails failed to send when an attachment exceeded 4 MB. Emails now send successfully within supported limits. Note that emails may still fail if the total message size exceeds approximately 19 MB.

Document Folder | Performance Optimization

We improved how Apricot loads the Document Folder to enhance performance and reduce load times.

Inventory | Accessibility Improvements

We released a series of accessibility enhancements to improve compatibility with assistive technologies.

Draft Records | Accessibility Improvements

We implemented additional accessibility updates to improve usability when working with Draft Records.
