How does CUSP Wealth ensure Shariah compliance?

This article explains how Shariah compliance is applied and overseen in the CUSP Wealth app.

CUSP’s Shariah-compliant investments are reviewed and approved under the guidance of a Shariah board. This independent oversight ensures that all rules and processes follow established Islamic finance principles.

Additionally, CUSP platform is backed by a formal Fatwa and our DFSA Islamic Endorsement. Screening is handled by Zoya (a leading Islamic screening firm), whose methodology has been reviewed and approved by Amanie Advisors (a leading Shariah advisory firm).

Filtering for Shariah-Compliant Investments

  • You can use the filter option in the app to only view Shariah-compliant securities.

  • This makes it simple to build your portfolio in line with your preferences.

These investments avoid non-permissible sectors such as alcohol, gambling, and interest-based activities, ensuring alignment with Islamic principles.

CUSP Personalised portfolio:

  • If you prefer a managed solution, you can select a Shariah-compliant CUSP Personalised portfolio.

  • The portfolio will include only investments marked as compliant and will be monitored under Shariah guidelines.
