How do I sell my CUSP Personalised portfolio?

A step-by-step guide to selling all or part of your CUSP Personalised portfolio from the app.

Selling your CUSP Personalised portfolio is simple and only takes a few taps in the app. Whether you want to withdraw funds, change your risk profile, or rebalance, here's how to do it.


Step 1: Open your Dashboard

From the bottom navigation bar, tap the middle button to open your Dashboard. Here you'll see your full portfolio overview, including your cash balance, investments, and any active Personalised portfolios.


Step 2: Select your Personalised portfolio

Under Personalised portfolios, tap on the portfolio you want to sell (for example, Aggressive portfolio). You'll see its current value, today's performance, and total returns.


Step 3: Tap Trade

On your portfolio details screen, you'll see three options at the bottom: Buy, Sell, and Close. Tap Sell to start the order.


Step 4: Enter the amount

Type in the amount in USD you want to sell, or use the quick percentage shortcuts:

  • 25%, 50%, 75%: Sell a portion of your portfolio.

  • Max: Sell the full available amount.

  • The minimum amount you can sell is $25.If your available balance is less than that, you'll need to use the Max button to sell the full amount.

  • Once you've entered your amount, tap Preview order.


Step 5: Review your order

You'll see a summary of your sell order, including:

  • Order type: Market order — executed at the next available market price.

  • Estimated received: The amount you'll get from the sale.

  • Execution fee: Free.

  • Estimated total: The total value of your order.


Step 6: Slide to confirm

When you're ready, slide to confirm to place your sell order. You'll see an in-app confirmation as soon as the order is submitted.


What happens next?

  • Order execution: Sell orders are placed as market orders and are executed during US market hours. If you place an order outside market hours, it will be queued and processed when the market opens.

  • Settlement: Once the order is completed, the proceeds will appear in your cash balance. A short cooling-off period of up to 48 hours may apply before funds become available for withdrawal.

  • Tracking: You can check the status of your order anytime from the History section of the app.
