The limit of money you can send will depend on the store or bank you choose. However, you cannot send more than $2,999 per transaction, regardless of the store or bank you send money to. But don’t worry, there are very few places with low limits, most places have limits of between $1,000 and $2,999 so you can send enough money to your family and friends in one go.
The limit per transaction and the limit per day is up to $2,999, unless the store or bank imposes a lower limit. You will be able to see the limit in your app before sending the money. You can always go back and pick a different store or bank with a higher limit.
You can send money abroad with a maximum of 6 different transactions a day, or 30 transactions a month, always respecting the $ amount limit. For instance, you can send 5 transactions of $500 and one transaction of $499 in one day, so you are within the $2,999 limit and the 6 transactions per day limit
The minimum transaction amount is $25 per transaction

Some banks also allow for cash pick up, without needing a bank account. This includes BBVA, BanCoppel, and Banorte, and usually have higher limits than stores like Oxxo or 7-Eleven.
