✅ What you need to send money with Comun:
The recipient’s full name, exactly as it appears on their government-issued ID.
The recipient’s phone number.
The recipient’s address (only if you're sending money to a bank account).
The recipient’s CLABE (only if you're sending money to a bank account).
📦 Two convenient ways to send money:
1. Cash Pickup
The recipient does not need a bank account.
They can pick up the money at participating locations such as:
Elektra
Oxxo
7-Eleven
Soriana
Or even at a bank (if you select that option).
They must present a valid, government-issued ID.
The money will be available at least 30 minutes after you send it.
Important: The name must match the ID exactly. If there's a mismatch, your recipient may not be able to pick up the money. But don’t worry—we’ll refund the full amount to your account if there’s an issue.
2. Send to a Bank Account
You can send money to any bank in Mexico, including:
Banco Azteca
BBVA
Bancomer
Bancoppel, and more.
You’ll need to enter the recipient’s CLABE (the 18-digit bank account number).
Make sure the CLABE is correct to avoid delays.
If there’s an error, the full amount will be refunded to your account.
⚠️ Current Restrictions:
You cannot send money to bank accounts in LATAM that only receive U.S. dollars. Funds must be sent to accounts that accept the local currency.
You cannot send money to minors at this time.
