While we do not allow attachments in outgoing emails from Event Caddy due to security reasons, you do have a couple of options for displaying your flyer, or providing a document to your email recipients.

If you want to embed a PDF or Word flyer or poster, for example, into your email, you will first need to convert your file into an image file (JPEG, PNG, etc.).

Once your file is an image file, you may use the insert image button in the content editor to embed the file into your email.

You can enter a URL of an existing uploaded image, or select the Upload tab to first Choose the image file from your computer, then click 'Save' to upload it to Event Caddy and make it available on your webpage or in your email.

Consider using a percentage as the Width (and leave the height blank) to better accommodate different devices and screen sizes.

If you want to send a PDF or Word document that can't be an image (a form, text document, etc.), you may use our Downloadable Files tool under Event Website -> Website Editor -> Downloadable Files to upload your file. Once uploaded, you can create a hyperlink to it in your email.

Once the file is uploaded, you will see the URL for the file under File URL. Highlight and Copy the URL.

Now that you have copied your file's URL address, you will then be able to hyperlink text or an image in your outgoing email by highlighting your text and clicking the link button in the content editor and pasting your URL, or by adding the URL to your image's properties.

If you have any questions, or are unable to convert your document to an image, please reach out, we'll be happy to help you out.
