Event Caddy makes it easy to customize your tournament website as much or as little as you like. Most tournament organizers start with the basics when it comes to customizing their tournament site - adding a logo, banner and enabling social media links. To get started with this select WEBSITE EDITOR > Logo, Banner & Social Media from the side navigation of your admin dashboard.

Step 1: Adding a Logo

If your event has a logo to represent it, you would add it at the top section of the page by selecting the 'Choose File' button and then uploading the image that's saved on your computer.

Step 2: Adding a Banner

Next, you can choose to use one of our built in banners for your site or upload a banner of your choosing by selecting the 'Choose File' button and then uploading the image that's saved on your computer. The screenshot below has 'Enable Banner Shadow' selected which adds a slightly transparent rectangle around your tournament details that appear in the banner - tournament name, event location and event date.

Step 3: Enabling Social Media Sharing

Last, but certainly not least you don't want to miss an opportunity to promote your important cause on different social media platforms if you have a page - Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

If you enable one or more of these they will appear in the footer of your tournament site.

Additional Information (Q&A)

  • How do I increase the size of my event logo on the website?
You can try resizing the logo within the image to make it larger by removing blank edges, then upload the new image under "Website Editor -> Logo, Banner & Social Media." Alternatively, consider creating a custom banner with the logo on it for a larger display, as the logo at the top of the page will always appear smaller.

  • Can I customize the homepage banner?
The colors and text of the default homepage banner cannot be edited, however you could consider instead creating a Custom banner using a website like https://canva.com. In that way you can color the banner and text in any way you want. After uploading the custom banner, select the 'Background Only?' option to remove the overlayed text and shadow.
