Within the Online Store (only available on Event Caddy PRO), you have the ability to send a customized auto-generated email to every person who makes a donation via the DONATE button (if enabled) on your tournament website. It's a simple and meaningful way to say 'thank you' to every person that contributes to your charitable cause. Here's how you set it up:
From the side navigation of your admin dashboard select ONLINE STORE > Donation Email Template.
On the next screen select the 'Add donation email' button.
From here you can create your fully custom - and personalized - email template.
Add your subject line
If you want to turn off/disable the donation email template at any point in time, simply uncheck the box next to the text 'Do you want to send this email to the donator after they make a donation to your event?'
With the built-in content editor, you don't need to know HTML to build a world-class template. We've also included some handy 'helpers' that you can insert into your template which will auto populate information such as player name, tournament name, tournament date and more. These are located next to the headings 'Tournament placeholders', 'Admin placeholders' and 'Customer placeholders'.
As you add content to the content editor it will populate the 'Sample' email section below so you can see a preview of what your email will look like when it is sent out.
Once you're happy with your donation email template, select the 'Create donation email template button' to create your email.
Repeat steps 2 through 5 for each product email template you wish to create.
