For full definitions of each quote status, see our article on quote status here.

Draft to Pending

A Draft quote is a saved quote that has not been sent to a customer. To change a Draft to quote to Pending, choose one of the Send to customer options: Email to customer, Email PDF to me, Link to share or Download PDF. The quote status will automatically update to Pending.

Pending to Secure/Lost
Once a quote is sent to a customer its status automatically updates to Pending. If an email was sent to the customer or a link was shared, the customer can choose to accept or reject the quote online. This will automatically update the quote to either Secured or Lost.

A quote can be manually marked as either Secured or Lost by using the quote status drop down menu.

Pending to Negotiated
If a quote is edited after it is sent to a customer it attains Negotiated status. This implies that the customer requested some changes to the quote after it was sent. After the quote is resent to the customer it reverts to Pending.

Secured/Lost to Pending
A quote can manually be changed to Pending from Secured or Lost. Select the Revert to Pending icon.

Draft to Void

Before a quote is sent to a customer, it can be deleted by selecting Void.

Pending to Cancelled
If after a customer receives a quote they decide it is no longer relevant, it can be marked as Cancelled.

Draft/Pending to Expired

A quote expires when it passes the validity date. From Expired a quote can only be resubmitted to find a new quote with the same parameters. It then becomes a Draft quote.
