When you choose to fund your account using your Visa or Mastercard Debit, Credit or Pre-paid card, we process your card using our banking partners card processor. When we receive a decline status for that transaction by your bank, we inform you that your card top up has been declined.

Based on experience with other customers, we have put together a small guide on ensuring your card transactions are successful

  • Re attempt the transaction, ensure that you entered your card details accurately.

  • Ensure that you have sufficient funds to cover the transaction, make note of processing fees associated with funding your account using your card.

  • Contact your bank to ensure that they are not blocking your card due to suspicious activity.

  • Try using another bank card .

  • Ensure that the card you are using is a Visa/ Mastercard branded card.
