  • What happens if I decide to cancel my Launch27 account, am I able to request a token transfer to a different processor? If so, how do I go about doing that?

Yes, you will be able to request a token transfer, every payment processor offers this service. There is a fee associated with the token migration process.

You can either email Payments.AccountSupport@fullsteam.com or call 334-329-6775 for more information.

Funds and Transfers

  • What happens after I charge a customer's card?

Once you charge a customer's card, the transaction is first authorized. Then, the transaction gets batched (grouped together), and payouts are deposited in two business days. Batch dates for transactions will depend on when the transaction was authorized (fully charged).

The cut off time to batch payments same day is 8pm Central time.

Here's an example:

Booking was fully charged at 6pm on Monday

Transaction will be batched on Monday

Funds will be deposited for this transaction on Wednesday (2 business days).

Here's another example:

Booking was fully charged at 9:25pm on Monday.

Transaction will get batched on Tuesday (since it is after the cut off time)

Funds will be deposited two business days from Tuesday, on Thursday.

  • When will I receive payouts for my transactions?

Our standard deposit speed is two days from the batch date/authorization date

  • Can I choose to transfer funds the next day/automatic transfer?

We do offer accelerated funding for next day deposits with an 8:05 CT pm cut off for charges. There is a $25/monthly fee for acceleration of payouts.

Reach out to Launch27 support if you would like to add accelerated payouts onto your processing account.

  • Some processors allow you to set a deposit date for your payouts, can I do that with Launch27 Pay? Currently I get one deposit a month for all my cc transactions, can I do that?

You will not be able to specify when or what date you want your payouts.

This will be done automatically everyday if there are funds due for deposit.

  • Do funds go directly to my bank account after 48 hrs or do I have to request for them to be transferred?

Funds will be transferred automatically after 48 hrs to your company bank account, no need to put a request in.

  • How will I be able to access and view the funds before they transfer into my bank account?

You will be able to view your funding summery report and other reports in your Merchant Track account before funds are transferred to your account.

For more on Merchant Track reporting, check this doc out.

  • Are all funds transferred individually or are the funds grouped together and deposited by day, week or month? Is there any flexibility in this process?

All funds are grouped together (batched) then transferred everyday if there are funds to deposit.. Currently, there is no flexibility in this process.

  • I need to update the bank account where I receive my payouts, how can I do that?

To update the bank account we have on file for your Launch27 Pay account, please reach out via email or phone number to our Payment Services department.

Their contact information is:

Payments.AccountSupport@fullsteam.com or you can call 334-329-6775 (press option 4 for Payment services)

You will need to validate the new bank account by providing a voided check or bank letter for the new account.

If submitting a bank letter, the letter must:

  • Be printed on bank letterhead

  • Show full routing number

  • Show full account number

  • Show the beneficial owner's name

  • Have a bank representative signature

Due to the sensitive information being shared, these docs cannot be submitted to Launch27 Support. They will need to be uploaded securely through the Launch27 Pay application portal.

Holds and Charges

  • Can I pre authorize charges (put on hold)? If so, how many days in advance?

Yes, you can place a hold on a booking anytime after the booking is created inside the system

  • If I forget to charge a hold what happens?

A hold will remain on a booking for 5 days, if the hold is not released or charged, the system will auto release funds back to your customer at that time.

  • What will my customer see on their banking statement if a hold was released for their transaction? (does it show as a refund, will it depend on their bank)

When a hold is initiated, the transaction reflects as a pending charge in your customer's account until released or charged. If a hold is released within 24 hours, that transaction gets voided, and the pending authorization will eventually fall off of your customer's account. Holds released after 24 hours will show as a refund.

  • How do Refunds work? How long will it take for the funds to show back in my customer’s account?

This will depend on the issuing bank (your customer's bank). Funds can take 5-7 days to reflect back into their bank account.

Chargebacks and Disputes

  • Will I be charged a fee for Chargebacks?

There is a $25 fee for every chargeback whether the dispute is won or lost.

There are no refunds for chargeback fees.

  • What is the process for chargebacks?

The cardholder (your customer) disputes the charge with their bank. Once Fullsteam receives notice of the chargeback, an email is then sent to you requesting supporting documents to validate the charge to the customer's account. At this time, the chargeback fee is applied. You'll need to prove to the issuing bank that the client took part in the transaction by providing supporting documentation like email records, phone transcripts etc. It is ultimately up to the issuing bank to review documents submitted and make a judgement. Fullsteam and Launch27 have no say in the judgment made by the issuing bank.

  • How can I dispute a chargeback? Who do I contact? How long does it take? What do I need to submit?

It’s preferable to reply back to the email you receive from Fullsteam in regards to the dispute, as they have a dedicated team to assist you with the chargeback process.

You can read more about Chargebacks here

Reporting

  • Do you provide any form of reporting on payment data? Can I download transaction statements with Launch27 Pay?

Yes. Inside Merchant track you will have several reports you can download for your transactions. Our Merchant Summery reports= is available the 10th of each month for the month prior. If you want to look at transactions, you can run a transaction fee report and that will download in a CSV.

Click here to read more about the reports available to you inside Merchant Track.

  • How will I be able to access the reporting features? Will it be through my Launch27 platform or do I have to login somewhere else?

You will log into your Merchant Track account from right inside your Launch27 software account.

  • Will I be able to separate revenue from recurring clients and single one off services. I want to make sure that I will still be able to collect the data to separate this revenue in Quickbooks.

We plan to create a way for clients to make this distinction in their Merchant Track account. Updates to come.
