As a reminder, Launch27 doesn’t actually create the “next” booking in a recurring series until the current one is marked as completed.

However, if a Staff user needs to edit/cancel a future booking that has not been created yet, the system will still allow you to do so.

We do this by first creating the booking you want to change, then allowing you to make the changes to this newly created booking as you normally would.

Important: as of July 2017, only staff can change future bookings, NOT customers.

To edit a future booking:

1. Go to the Active Bookings page

2. Click on a booking that’s labeled as a Forecasted Recurring Booking

3. A modal will open that has Edit and Cancel Booking buttons:

4. Click on the Edit button

5. You will see a warning that explains in order to edit this future forecasted booking, the system needs to create some bookings first:

6. Check the box that you’ve read this information, and click Continue

7. The bookings are created and you are taken to the Edit Booking form to edit the booking you selected

The process is similar to editing a future booking:

1. Go to the Active Bookings page

2. Click on a booking that’s labeled as a Forecasted Recurring Booking

3. A modal will open that has Edit and Cancel Booking buttons

When you click the Cancel Booking button, you will see a confirmation modal:

After you confirm you want to cancel, the booking is cancelled. You can always restore the booking via the Cancelled Bookings page if you need to.
