If you’re using Team Availability mode for your Schedule Availability, then there may be times when you want the system to ignore whatever your actual team availability is and use some value you specify instead.

Reasons for doing this may include:

o You prefer to manually plan your schedule when you need to

o You don’t want customers booking at certain times

We’ll show you two ways to override your available spots to ignore your actual team availability:

o Prevent New Bookings (aka. locking a spot) to prevent new bookings from being created at that time

o Switch to Manual Spots to set how many bookings can be created at that time

Using the Prevent New Bookings method tells the system to always show “0 availability” for a given time slot on your schedule. This basically “locks” the spot to prevent any new bookings from being created at this time.

One exception is your recurring bookings will still be created in this spot since they already had a “claim” to specific times and dates on your schedule.

1. Go to Settings > Booking Spots

2. Click on the settings icon next to the desired time slot

3. Choose Prevent New Bookings. You will now see a red lock icon and the background of your time slot is now light red.

4. Click Save Changes

Now your availability for this time slot will now be “0” whenever somebody tries to book at that time.

Using the Switch to Manual Spots method lets you set the number of available spots for a given time slot to be any number from 0 or higher.

To switch to manual spots:

1. Go to Settings > Booking Spots

2. Click on the settings icon next to the desired time slot and choose Switch to Manual Spots.

3. You should now see +/- icons and the “x Teams Available” now says “x Manual Spots”. Use the +/- icons to change the number of manual spots to the desired amount.

4. Click Save Changes

Now your availability for this time slot will be whatever you set it to, thus allowing that many bookings to be created for that time.

Note: If you change the number of Manual Spots to 0, the system will just lock the spot as it does in the Prevent New Bookings method above.
