Multi-Locations – Overview

What can Multi-Locations do for you?

  • Do you service multiple locations that require different pricing?

  • Are you receiving bookings that are not in your service areas?

  • Do you want to grow your revenue by servicing multiple locations?

Multi-Locations allows you to do all of the above and more:

  • Create different service locations based on zip/postal code

  • Offer different pricing and scheduling availability for each of your service areas

  • Prevent customers from booking appointments if they live outside of your service areas

IMPORTANT: In order for this feature to work correctly and trigger the correct availability and service pricing, do not add the same zip code/postal code to multiple locations.

How to enable Multi-Locations

Go to Settings > Multi Locations > select Enable Multi-Location feature

After you enable Multi-Locations, the Settings pop up will appear.

  1. Choose which location will be your Default Location.

  2. Choose how you want your Customer’s postal code to match, you will have two options:Exactly match the Location’s postal code (i.e. If Location’s postal code is ‘12345’, the Customer must enter ‘12345’ to match that Location)Match the First Characters of the Location’s postal code (i.e. If you want the first 3 characters to match and your Location has a postal code ‘123’, then the Customer may enter ‘123 ABC’ to be matched to that Location.) (Canada)

  3. The next prompt will ask you what you want your booking form to do in the event that a customer books a service outside of your service area, there will be two options:

  • Do not service this customer by selecting Prevent them from booking.

  • Assign the booking to your chosen Default Location

How to Create a Location

Go to Settings > Multi Locations > Add New

You will need to complete the Location Wizard with 5 quick steps:

Step 1 – Setup

  1. Name your Location (i.e. Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens)

  2. Type the zip codes that you want to service in the Postal Codes field.

For Canadian Postal Codes

Since you chose the second option (above), the system will identify your customer’s location by the first three characters of the postal code. In this field, you should enter the first 3 characters of your postal code.

For example: London, Ontario = N6B // Toronto, Ontario = M6K

(Note: For best results, make sure the postal codes in your Locations are not added to more than one location at a time.)

Step 2 – Availability

  1. Check the days of the week you are available to service the areas.

  2. What are the hours of operation for this location?

  3. How much time will you need between jobs in this area? (some areas are larger than others and require more time between jobs for your staff)

  4. Based on how many Teams you have working this area, how many jobs can you complete within each time slot?

  5. Are you using specific times, or arrivals windows?

Step 3 – Services

  1. Choose the Services you would like to offer for this location, or you can select Add New to create a new service for this location.

Steps 4 & 5

These steps will require you to choose from your existing Frequencies and Teams to add to your location.

To test your mulilocation set up, be sure to enter in a full address and zip code/postal code into the booking for the feature to trigger.
