Let's break down some examples of the most common pricing parameters linked with services so that you can get that customized pricing you need for your services.

Things to Remember:

  • Pricing Parameters are automatic multipliers to the final price the customer pays depending on their selection.
    โ€‹

  • Pricing Parameters only display based on the service they are linked to.

  • Be sure to set a duration for each parameter created so the system accurately calculates the estimated duration of the booking (if you have duration enabled)

Bathrooms- Flat rate- charge per bathroom

With this set up each bedroom is priced at a flat rate.

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click flat rate

In this example, each bedroom selected will be charged at $15

Bathrooms- first bathroom is free (included in service price), charge for each additional bathroom

With this set up, the first bathroom is free, and each additional bathroom will be charged at the rate you enter in

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click as a range

In this example, the first bathroom is free and each additional bathroom is $20

Charge by Square feet- flat rate

With this set up, the customer enters in their sq.footage and price is calculated based on flat rate.

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click flat rate

In this example, each sq foot is calculated at 35 cents.

Charge by Square feet-customer selects a range
(Great for residential and commercial cleans)

With this set up the customer does not enter an exact amount of sq feet, but selects a range. Each range is given it's own price and duration.

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click as a range

In this example, depending on the range selected by the customer, the service price will increase based on the amount entered in the Price column

Additional parameter ideas

Cleaning Supplies

With this set up, you can charge an additional fee if the client says they want to use your supplies for the cleaning.

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click as a range

In this example, depending on if the customer needs supplies or not, the final price for the booking will increase. Here no supplies needed is free.

Condition of Home

With this set up you can charge an additional fee based on the condition of the home

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click as a range

In this example, depending on the condition selected by the customer, the service price will increase based on the amount entered in the Price column

Extra Time

With this set up, your customer can add extra time to their booking and you can charge a flat rate accordingly.

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click flat rate pricing

In this example, depending on the number of hours selected, the final price for the booking will increase.

Levels of Home

With this set up, you can charge an additional fee for additional levels of the home

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click as a range

In this example, depending on the number of levels selected, the final price for the booking will increase. Here one level has no additional cost.

Pet Fee

With this set up, you can charge an automatic additional fee for pets in the home

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click as a range

In this example, depending on if they have pets or not, the booking final price will increase. Here No pets adds no additional cost to the customer.

Rooms of the House

With this set up, you can charge an additional fee for a particular room of the house

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click as a range

In this example, depending on the number of kitchens selected, the final price for the booking will increase. Here the first kitchen is free.

Type of Service

With this set up, you can charge an additional fee based on the type of service the customer wants

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click as a range

In this example, depending on the type of service selected by the customer, the service price will increase based on the amount entered in the Price column

NON CLEANING SERVICE PARAMETERS

Type of Car

With this set up, you can charge an additional fee based on the type of car the customer has

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click as a range

In this example, depending on the type of car selected by the customer, the service price will increase based on the amount entered in the Price column

Sedan in this example gets no additional price added

Type of Wash/Cleaning Package

With this set up, you can charge an additional fee based on the type of wash or package the customer wants

1. Go to Settings > Services > Pricing Parameter

2. Select Add New and click as a range

In this example, depending on the wash type selected by the customer, the service price will increase based on the amount entered in the Price column

  • The first drop down will always populate your services

  • Any additional drop down that shows are pricing parameter.

As you change the service in the first drop down, the pricing parameters will update to display only the parameters linked to that service.
