Templates for Required Documents

How to create and manage templates for required documents on an application

First navigate to an existing application. Templates can be created from any application. Once created, they are available for all applications.

Creating a new Outstanding Document Templates

1. Within the application, click the Blue + sign at the top right of the page.

2. Click Apply Outstanding Document Template.

  • Note: At any time you can add individual Outstanding Documents to your application by selecting the "Add Outstanding Document" option above instead.

3. Click Create Template.

4. Name your new Outstanding Document Template.

5. Click on ADD OUTSTANDING DOCUMENT (as many as needed).

6. Select a Parent category.

7. Select a Document.

8. Click Save.

Note: Documents "Parents" category and Document names can be edited in the Settings page. See here for more information on Settings. If you do not have access to Settings, please contact your administrator of contact us at support@lendesk.com

Adding and existing Outstanding Document Template to an application

1. Within the application, click the Blue + sign at the top right of the page.

2. Click Apply Outstanding Document Template.

3. You can then choose one of the created Templates on the left side.

4. Click APPLY TEMPLATE to have that template applied to your application.

5. You can delete existing Outstanding Document Templates by click the " X " next to the desired template.

6. You can modify existing templates by clicking EDIT TEMPLATE.

Managing your Outstanding Documents

  1. After applying the desired template, you can view the Outstanding Documents list in the Documents page. This page can be access via the left navigation column.

  2. Once a required document has been uploaded to the Application (see How to Upload or Generate a Document for more information), you can indicate the document as completed or obtained by ticking the box next to the document. This will remove the document from the outstanding list.

  3. You can review obtained documents by Ticking the Show Completed box.

  4. You can set a Due date for your document.

  5. If a document isn't needed, you can user the 3 Dots Symbol and Delete it.

Suggested Templates

  • You may have a set of standard documents that are required to be obtained or signed for all new applications. We suggest creating a document template for all new/unprocessed applications that are not pre-approved.

  • List of documents to be executed or obtained once the loan is approved, committed, instructed, etc.

Pro Tip: These templates will come in handy when you are setting up your workflow automations.
