Your limits for sending money are personal. There is no identical table for everyone, nor a fixed limit for each destination country. The system calculates your limits based on several factors, including your history with MAJORITY, and they can change over time. Because of this, two people sending money to the same country can have different limits. Additionally, your limits today may not be the same as the ones you had a few months ago. There are two types of limits, and they are independent
Limits by amount: how much money you can send in a day and in a month. Limits by number of transfers:
how many transactions you can make during a 30-day period, regardless of the amount of each one. Your limit does not reset on a fixed day of the month. It recovers little by little, depending on what you sent and when you sent it. Each transfer uses up part of your allowance for 30 days. Once those 30 days have passed, that portion becomes available again. What you sent on day 1 is released to you on day 31. What you sent on day 2, on day 32. And so on.
An example with a limit of $2,000 every 30 days:
On September 1 you send $800. You have $1,200 available. On September 10 you send $1,200. You reached the limit, you cannot send any more. On October 1, 30 days have passed since your first transfer, and those $800 become available again. On October 10, the other $1,200 are released. This is why it can happen that on one day you cannot send money and the next day you can, without you having done anything.
It is not that a new month has started: it is that one of your previous transfers reached 30 days.
Reaching a limit does not block your account Your account continues to work normally. Reaching a limit is a temporary pause for that specific type of transaction.
