What is a pocket?

A pocket is a subaccount within your MAJORITY account that helps you set money aside for a financial goal.

  • You can transfer money to and from your main account instantly and without limits.

  • Pockets do not have their own debit card or account number.

  • They do not generate interest or earnings.

  • Funds will not automatically move back to your main account if you overdraft.


How do I create a pocket?

  1. Open your MAJORITY app.

  2. Go to Wallet > Other accounts.

  3. Select Open a pocket.

  4. Give it a name (example: Vacation, New car).

✅ Your pocket opens instantly, with no fees or extra documentation.


Can I open more than one pocket?

Yes. You can currently open up to 3 pockets maximum.


Can I close or rename my pocket?

  • Close: Yes, as long as the balance is $0.00. You will see the Close option once you select the pocket.

  • Rename: Yes, you can rename your pocket as many times as you want. Just select the pocket and tap Rename pocket.


Can I make purchases, pay bills, or send money from a pocket?

No. Pockets are only for setting money aside.

  • You will not receive an additional debit card.

  • You cannot use them for purchases, bill payments, or money transfers.

  • To use the money, first transfer it to your main account.


Can I pay my membership fee with pocket funds?

Not directly.
If you want to use that money for your membership, transfer it from your pocket to your main account first.
