Ad‑hoc Checklists

The new Ad‑hoc Checklists functionality allows you to run a checklist instantly from the stock level—no need to open a works order or follow a scheduled process. This is especially useful for quick checks, inspections, or on‑the‑spot verifications.

Why Use Ad‑hoc Checklists?

  • Instant access — No works order needed.

  • Perfect for unplanned checks such as yard walk‑arounds or safety spot inspections.

  • Improves record‑keeping by logging inspections directly on stock items.

  • Increases accuracy by standardising how checks are carried out.

1. Open the Product

  1. Navigate to inventory

  2. Select your product

  3. Open the Stock Level.

2. Open the Actions Menu

  1. Look for the Actions menu on the stock item screen.

  2. Click or tap to expand the available actions.

3. Select “Carry out Checklist”

  1. From the list of actions, choose Carry out Checklist.

  2. A list of available checklists assigned to this stock type will appear.

4. Choose Your Checklist

  1. Browse the list and select the checklist you want to run.

  2. Examples may include:

    • Yard Inspection

    • Pre‑Delivery Check

    • Site Visit Verification

    • General Condition Check

5. Complete the Checklist

  1. The checklist will open immediately.

  2. Work through each question or requirement.

  3. Add notes, upload photos, or record measurements as required.

  4. Submit or complete the checklist when finished.
