Copilot in OnRent Go

CoPilot is useful because it makes everyday tasks faster, easier, and more accurate. Instead of clicking through multiple menus, it lets you work by simply typing what you want — and the system does the rest.

Updated this week

Summary of Key Benefits

  • ✔ Faster order creation

  • ✔ Less navigation through menus

  • ✔ Instant feedback on errors

  • ✔ Easy access to item availability

  • ✔ Natural language instructions

Please note: Try to use the systems Termanology for the best results. This feature is for only Premier and Enterprise versions.

1. What CoPilot Does

CoPilot reduces the time it takes to create an order by allowing you to input specific terms or natural language instructions—and it generates the order for you.

Examples of what you can ask CoPilot to do:

  • “Create a hire order for tomorrow.”

  • “Add a 3‑ton excavator to this order.”

  • “What items are available for this booking?”

  • “Check availability for Friday.”

It automates the steps behind the scenes, so you get results faster and with fewer clicks.

2. How to Open CoPilot

  1. Look at the bottom-left corner

  2. Find the CoPilot icon or CoPilot label.

  3. Click it to activate CoPilot.

3. CoPilot Menu Opens on the Right Side

Once you press the CoPilot option, a new menu will slide in from the right side of the screen.

From here, you can immediately begin typing instructions such as:

  • “Create an order for John Smith.”

  • “Add a generator to my current order.”

  • “Show availability for lighting towers.”

4. Creating an Order with CoPilot

  1. Type your instruction in the CoPilot input bar, for example:
    “Create a new hire order.”

  2. CoPilot will set up the order and present it to you.

  3. You can continue the conversation, building the order step‑by‑step through simple commands.

Example follow‑ups:

  • “Add 20 barriers.”

  • “Set delivery for Monday at 9am.”

5. Adding Items — and Handling Errors

When you ask CoPilot to add an item, it will attempt to do so immediately.

If something prevents the item from being added (e.g., no availability, missing customer info, incomplete fields), CoPilot will show an error message explaining exactly what’s wrong.

Example:

  • “This item cannot be added because there is no stock available.”

  • “A site must be selected before adding items.”

This helps you quickly resolve issues and continue without manually searching through the system.

6. Ask CoPilot Questions

You aren’t limited to order creation. You can ask CoPilot questions such as:

  • “What items are available for this order?”

  • “What is the earliest delivery time?”

  • “Show me availability for next week.”

  • “What’s on hire today?”

CoPilot will analyse your system data and respond immediately—saving time on navigation and manual searches.
