Address Sync on Account Change

When updating an account address in OnRent Go, you can now automatically update the associated Delivery Place and Billing Place addresses. This new feature saves time and ensures consistency across your records.

Benefits of the Automatic Update Feature

  • Consistency: Ensures all related addresses stay aligned with the account’s primary address.

  • Time-Saving: Eliminates the need to manually update multiple records.

  • Accuracy: Reduces risk of mismatched or outdated addresses on jobs, deliveries, and invoices.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open the Account Record

  1. Navigate to Accounts.

  2. Use the search bar or scroll to find the account you want to update.

  3. Tap to open the account’s details page.

2. Edit the Account Address

  1. On the account page.

  2. Tap Edit.

  3. Enter the new address details as required (e.g., street, city, postcode, country).

3. Choose Whether to Update Delivery and Billing Addresses

After editing the address, you will see a new prompt:

“Update Delivery Place and Billing Place addresses automatically?”

You will have the following options:

  • Update Both – Applies the new account address to the linked delivery and billing places.

  • Update Delivery Only – Updates only the delivery place address.

  • Update Billing Only – Updates only the billing address.

  • Don’t Update – Keeps delivery and billing places unchanged.

Select the option that best fits the situation.

4. Confirm and Save

  1. Review your changes.

  2. Tap Save.

OnRent Go will apply the updates—including any linked place addresses you chose to sync.
