Why is Pickem no longer available in Tennessee?
Effective May, 2026, Tennessee Senate Bill 2136, combined with House Bill 1885, classifies casino-style sweepstakes games that use dual-currency systems — including slots — as gambling under state law. In order to comply with this legislation, Pickem is required to restrict access to users located in Tennessee from that date onwards.
We are fully committed to operating in compliance with state laws and regulations.
When does this take effect?
Access to Pickem for Tennessee-based users will be disabled on May 28, 2026, at 12:00am. From that date, users located in Tennessee will not be able to access any features on the platform.
What features are affected?
All Pickem features will be unavailable to users located in Tennessee, including but not limited to:
Playing games
Purchasing Gold Coins or Welcome Packs
Claiming daily bonuses or mission rewards
Submitting or receiving redemptions
What happens to my account?
Your account is not deleted. All of your personal details, history, and account information are fully saved, secured, and kept intact. Access is blocked based on your location — not your account status.
What happens to my balance?
Your Gold Coin (GC) and Sweepstakes Coin (SC) balance will remain on your account. If you have SC winnings eligible for redemption, you must submit your redemption request before May 28, 2026, at 12:00am.
Can I still redeem my Sweepstakes Coins?
Yes — if your SC balance meets the redemption requirements, you are able to submit a redemption request before the deadline of May 28, 2026, at 12:00am.
I'm moving out of Tennessee to another state. Can I access Pickem again?
Yes. If you relocate to an eligible state, you will be able to access Pickem again. Your account, balance, and history will be exactly as you left them. Simply log in from your new location and access will be restored automatically.
I'm moving to Tennessee from another state. What happens to my account?
If you relocate to Tennessee, your access to Pickem will be restricted in accordance with Tennessee SB2136. Your account will remain intact and your data will be safely stored. Should you move to an eligible state in the future, or should the law change, your account will be fully accessible again.
Will my account ever be accessible again?
Your account remains open and all your data is preserved. If Tennessee's legal landscape changes in the future, or if you move to an eligible state, your account will be available to you exactly as you left it.
Is this permanent?
This restriction is a direct result of current Tennessee state law (SB2136, effective May 28, 2026). Should the law be amended or repealed in the future, we will review the situation and communicate any changes to affected users.
