A candidate can retake the failed section(s) as many times as they wish within 28 days from the date of the first failure (28 days includes the day in which assessment part(s) were passed). For renewal candidates, this must take place prior to the expiry date of the candidate's existing qualification. Additional training should be carried out to address the reason(s) for failure prior to each reassessment. The assessor must complete a new assessment matrix for each reassessment and the results recorded on an assessment report form and submitted to RLSS UK for processing.
