You can upload catalog data exported from Clover, Square, or Stripe (in .xlsx format) or using a BOS template (in .csv format). You can download the current catalog to edit and then re-upload the catalog data.

Note: Catalog Import is available only in the web application.

  1. Select Catalog > Catalog Import.

  2. To export the catalog data, select Download general import template.

  3. If necessary, edit the catalog data and save the file.

  4. Drag the updated catalog data into the window or browse to select the file.

  5. Select Preview import. The details of the catalog file are displayed, with warnings of potential SKU conflicts.

  6. Review any SKU conflicts to determine how to proceed with the import.

  7. Under When a row shares an existing SKU, select an option to determine how to handle matching SKU records:

    • Override existing items: Replace the existing items with data from the import file. This option is useful when you are doing a complete update of the catalog.

    • Skip conflicting items: Ignore any matching SKUs and import new records only.

    • Create new items: Add the matching SKUs as new items in the catalog. New unique values are generated for the new items.

  8. Select Select rows to import.

  9. If you selected Create new items, select the check box for each item to be created.

  10. Select Continue to confirm. A confirmation message is displayed.

  11. Perform one of the following tasks:

    • If you selected Override existing items, select the check box to confirm the action, and then select Import catalog.

    • If you selected Create new items, select the check box to confirm the action, and then select Add items.
