The dashboard is the landing page for users logging in to SqlDBM. From here, you can create a new project, review existing projects, or navigate to account settings.

Dashboard

By default, all (non-archived) projects that are accessible to your user are listed on the dashboard. To view projects by category, select from one of the three items on the left menu.

º All Projects

º Created by me

º Shared with me

º Archived

Project search

A search bar is available to help quickly locate projects when faced with a large list on the dashboard.

Archive

To file away older projects, you have the archive option. Archived projects are not immediately visible on the dashboard but are still permanently accessible, including full revision history, from the "Archived" section.

Navigate to the dotted menu to the right of any existing project and select the "Archive" option.

View and Restore Archived Projects

You can view all your archived projects by selecting the "Archived" option on the left menu.

To restore an archived project, navigate to the dotted menu to the right of an archived project and select the "Restore" option.

Pin a project

Pinned projects appear at the top of the project list. You will see a pin icon to the right of a project to indicate that it has been pinned.

To only show pinned projects, click the "Show pinned" slider on the top right of the dashboard.

To pin or unpin a project, navigate to the dotted menu to the right of a project and select the "Pin/Unpin" option.

Copy Project

You can copy any existing project, including its last three revisions.

To copy a project, navigate to the dotted menu to the right of a project and select the "Copy" option.

A new project will automatically be created and you will be taken directly to the diagram.

Convert a Project

You can convert any project/database type to another through SqlDBM.

To convert a project, navigate to the dotted menu to the right of a project and select the "Convert Project To..." option.

Choose the target database type and note the "Save copy of project" option enabled by default. If you do not wish to maintain the original unconverted project, unselect this option.

To complete the conversion, click "Convert all project revisions"

Delete a Project

To delete a project, navigate to the dotted menu to the right of a project and select the "Delete" option. You will see a confirmation popup. Please type "Delete", if you are sure the project with all data should be removed.
