This page provides a centralized, date-based view of procurement activity across projects, making it easy to understand what is upcoming, completed, or needs attention.

Purpose

The Calendar plays a central role in SubBase by giving teams shared visibility into delivery timing and procurement activity so work can be planned, coordinated, and adjusted without jumping between orders.

Overview

The Calendar tab presents procurement activity in a visual, time-based layout. Teams land here when they need to understand what is happening when, across one project or many. Instead of reviewing individual orders one by one, the Calendar brings delivery dates, request timing, and order status into a single, scannable view.

This page is designed for daily coordination. It supports planning conversations, helps identify conflicts or gaps, and provides fast access to order details directly from the timeline.

Who Can Do This

This tab is available to users who have access to the Calendar in the blue navigation bar. Visibility depends on role permissions and project access.

Before You Start

The Calendar reflects information entered on orders and material requests. What you see is based on the projects you have access to and the delivery dates assigned to those records.

What You Can See and Do in the Calendar Tab

When you open the Calendar, you can see procurement activity organized by date across your projects. The page focuses on visibility and navigation rather than configuration.

You can:

  • View material requests, orders, and deliveries laid out on a timeline

  • Switch between different calendar views to match your planning needs

  • Scan delivery status using clear visual indicators

  • Hover over a calendar item to preview high-level order details without opening it

  • Select an item on the calendar to review delivery details or open the related order

This experience is meant to feel like a live schedule of what materials are moving and when.

Views and Time Navigation

The Calendar supports multiple ways to look at the same information so teams can plan at the right level.

You can move through time using controls to jump to today, move backward, or move forward. The view selector allows you to switch between a broader planning view and more detailed daily views, depending on how closely you need to manage deliveries.

Visual Status Indicators

Each item on the Calendar includes visual cues that represent its current status. These indicators allow teams to quickly understand whether something is requested, in progress, delivered, or flagged with an issue without opening the order.

The goal is fast recognition rather than detailed analysis.

Project Filtering and Cross-Page Consistency

The project selector at the top of the Calendar allows you to view activity across all projects or focus on a single project.

This selector mirrors project visibility across SubBase. What appears in the Calendar matches the projects you can access in Orders, Materials, and other tabs.

Opening Delivery Details

Selecting an item on the Calendar opens its delivery context, where you can review key details and navigate to the full order if needed. This allows you to move from planning to action without leaving the Calendar workflow.

Troubleshooting

I do not see a project or order I expect

This usually means you do not have access to that project or the order does not have a delivery date assigned.

A delivery appears without a specific time

Orders without a delivery time still appear on the Calendar, but they may be grouped differently depending on the view.

FAQs

Is the Calendar used to create or edit orders?

No. The Calendar is a visibility and navigation tool. Orders and delivery details are created and managed from other areas of SubBase.

Does the Calendar show all projects automatically?

By default, the Calendar can show activity across all accessible projects, but you can filter to a single project at any time.

Best Practices

  • Use the Calendar daily to anticipate deliveries and spot conflicts early

  • Rely on visual indicators to prioritize attention before opening orders

  • Filter by project when coordinating with specific teams

  • Treat the Calendar as a planning surface, then drill into orders only when action is needed
