First of all, the Taplio X extension is required to be connected to your Taplio account in order for all features to function as supposed to.

However, the Taplio X extension can only be installed on Chromium-based browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, etc. and it cannot be installed and connected on a mobile device.
​
First, go to your desktop device, open your chromium-based browser, head over to https://app.taplio.com/ and log into your Taplio account.
​
Then connect your account by following the below procedure:
​
1. Click on the connect button as shown in the screenshot below and log into your LinkedIn account.
​

2. If you successfully connected your accounts, you will see the below screen.

3. From there, click on the "Let's go!" button and you will be prompted to a below screen to define the topics you want to post about.

4. Once you add your topics, click on the "Next" button and you will be prompted to a page to describe yourself, your areas of interest and select the language you write in.

5. Once finished, click on the "Let's go!" button and your account setup will be finished!

Next step is to connect the Taplio extension with your Taplio account. Please follow the procedure below in order to do so:

To add a Taplio X extension to your browser, you can go on this page and hit the “Add to Chrome” button.

Once you have added Taplio X to your Chrome-based browser, visit LinkedIn.com to connect it with your Taplio account. Upon visiting LinkedIn, the Taplio extension should load on the right side of the screen after just a few seconds.

Once it opens, you should see the "Get Started" button shown. Click on it, fill out your information and your email used to create a Taplio account, and hit the "Lets go" button.

After that, go to Taplio and refresh the page and everything should work as expected.

You are now all set and can log into Taplio on your mobile browser and use it on the go!

​Note: Please make sure not to log out of LinkedIn on the desktop browser where the Taplio X extension is installed and to stay connected to your Taplio account, as logging out of LinkedIn on that browser will disconnect your Taplio account from the Taplio X extension and cause all your scheduled posts to fail, as well as stats to stop syncing, etc.
