Contacts: adding contacts to a list

How to add people to a list in Taplio.

Updated over a week ago

Adding people to a list is a key feature of Taplio.

First, start off by creating a list.

You’ll likely be creating a few lists of people in Taplio, so we recommend picking a name that’s good at describing the people in that list.

Once you’ve done that, we need to highlight that you have a few ways of adding accounts to your contact lists.

Adding a single specific account at a time

To add a particular account to a list, we would suggest to copy/paste the profile URL of the user you wish to add.

After you click on the Add button next to it, you will see the user's icon below as the preview of the account. Make sure to click on the Add People button at the bottom of the window.

You will then get a confirmation message at the top of the Taplio page, saying that the addition was successful.

Adding multiple users

Using the same principle, you will now be adding multiple profile URLs into the field, instead of just one, but make sure to separate them with a comma, as shown in the screenshot below.

You will then be provided with multiple icons below, representing profile pictures of accounts.

Make sure to click on the Add People button again, and after loading, multiple contacts will be added to the selected lists.

Adding contacts to a list through the Taplio X extension

If you would like to add a contact to a list directly through a post, make sure to click on the 3 dots in the top right corner of the post, and choose the "Save Account to Contacts in Taplio" option. Then choose the list to which you want the account to be saved. Here are a few screenshots below, for reference.

Please note that the extension needs to be set up properly in order for importing of contacts to work, and that any use of an adblocker, VPN or the EERO router can interfere with this action.
