Disrupting the Cycle of Depression (October 2023)

Depression is a common mental health disorder that impacts the way you think, feel,

and behave. Symptoms like persistent low mood, decreased energy, and loss of interest

in things you once enjoyed can contribute to a sense of hopelessness and helplessness,

making even the most mundane tasks seem daunting. In this session your host will

guide you as you explore your depression cycle, develop skills to challenge and disrupt

patterns, and lean into the hope of recovery.

There are a plethora of additional resources related to depression on the Unum Behavioral Health platform. Log into the system to view those additional resources. For example, If your depressive symptoms seem to hit as the days become shorter and darker each fall, you may be suffering from seasonal affective disorder (SAD).
