In order to improve our passengers' experience and ensure timely airport pickups, we are introducing a late pickup penalty of 25 Diamonds for Meet & Greet journeys from the airport, effective from the 9th of December.
The following logic will be used to ensure the penalties are applied fairly. The penalty will only apply to journeys that meet all of the following conditions:
The journey is pre-booked from the airport.
The "Meet & Greet" option is selected.
You booked the journey yourself.
When you start heading to the airport, you will see the estimated arrival time of the flight. To avoid penalties, you need to be ‘Parked’:
before the landing time, if the flight arrival time doesn't change or is delayed.
OR before the original arrival time shown in the app when you started the journey, if the flight lands earlier than expected (crossed number on the screen)
Note that the penalty is only linked to the 'Parked' status, so do not rush to press 'I'm in Arrivals' and only do so when you are fully ready to meet the passenger.
This system aims to avoid penalties in cases where the delay is not your fault, and we remind you that the default standard is still to arrive 15 minutes before the landing time to ensure punctuality even if the flight is slightly earlier

No, we understand it may not always be possible to reach on time in such cases. But you should still park before the original arrival time shown in the app when you started the journey. You may always see this initial estimate crossed on the active journey screen.
