An expired order means it was automatically canceled during the Writer selection stage because the deadline passed without an expert being hired.
To prevent this from happening in the future, please ensure you've successfully hired an expert. The order should move to the In progress stage, and the payment will be transferred from your account to the order balance.
If you need to extend the deadline for an order, open the order details, locate the Edit Deadline option, and set a new deadline before saving your changes.
If your submission deadline hasn’t passed yet and you have some time for an expert to work on your task, simply replace the order by selecting the Create similar order option and hire a new expert.
Here’s the navigation path to do that: Writing section -> My Orders -> Closed -> find your Order title -> click on the three dots icon next to it -> select the Create similar order option.
You can also do it directly from the Order page, following the same procedure: click on the three dots icon next to the order title and select the Create similar order option.
After selecting the Create similar order option, make sure to set a valid and achievable deadline to streamline the process and submit the recreated order confidently.
If you've deposited the money but the order status hasn't changed, please click the Hire Writer button again to transfer the needed funds from the account to the order balance. To ensure the writer is successfully hired, refresh the page.
Managing order deadlines this way provides an effective and smooth workflow, including preventing expired orders.
