CEU Certificate Requirements and Exceptions

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are an essential part of maintaining certifications, and proper documentation is often required to ensure compliance. Below, we outline the general requirements for uploading CEU certificates, exceptions for specific cases, and submission guidelines.

General CEU Certificate Requirements

To validate your CEUs, you are generally required to upload certificates of completion for all courses, webinars, or training sessions you complete. These certificates serve as proof of completion and are necessary for verification purposes. Ensure that each certificate is uploaded to your CEU tracker to maintain accurate records.

Exceptions to Index number on proof of completion Requirements

While certificates are typically required, there are specific exceptions:

  1. Free Webinars: For free webinars, you do not need a certificate of completion. Instead, providing the webinar’s index number is sufficient. You will find this on screen during the last three minutes of the video. If the tracker blocks the index number, you have already used this ceu credit once.

  2. Other Education CEU Entries: For other CEU entries that do not provide certificates (e.g., courses taken with other schools), no index number upload is required.

Submission Guidelines for CEU Certificates

Follow these steps to ensure your CEU certificates are properly submitted:

  1. Log in to your CEU tracker.

  2. Upload the certificate of completion for each CEU activity.

  3. Verify that all uploaded documents are clear and legible.

By adhering to these guidelines, you can ensure that your CEUs are validated and compliant with certification requirements.
