How CEU Extensions Work
A CEU extension gives additional time to submit CEUs after the original CEU deadline.
The extension window is based on the original CEU due date, not the date the extension is purchased or requested.
What a CEU Extension Does
A CEU extension may reopen your CEU submission window so you can enter and submit eligible CEUs.
Once the extension is applied, you may submit qualifying CEUs through the CEU Tracker during the extension period.
How Long Is a CEU Extension?
CEU extensions provide additional time from the original CEU due date.
If you request or purchase an extension after the original due date has already passed, the remaining extension time may be shorter because the extension is still calculated from the original due date.
Can I Purchase More Than One CEU Extension?
No. CEU extensions are generally limited to one extension per CEU submission cycle.
Additional extensions are not normally available once the maximum extension window has been used.
Does a CEU Extension Extend My Membership?
No. Extending your CEU submission window does not automatically extend your membership.
If your membership also needs attention, review your membership status separately.
Why Am I Still Receiving CEU Reminder Notices After an Extension?
Some CEU notices may still be sent depending on system timing and when the extension was applied.
If you have confirmed that your CEU extension is active, continue working from the updated deadline shown in your account or provided by AAPC Support.
