How Do I Submit CEUs to AAPC?

Written by Andrew McLaughlin

Overview

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) help maintain your AAPC credentials and demonstrate ongoing professional development.

Before submitting CEUs, make sure you have documentation showing that the education qualifies for AAPC credit.

How Do I Submit CEUs?

  1. Log in to your AAPC account.

  2. Open your CEU Tracker.

  3. Select the option to add or enter CEUs.

  4. Enter the required information, including any CEU index number if applicable.

  5. Submit the CEU entry.

Always keep copies of your CEU certificates and supporting documentation for your records.

What Documentation Should I Keep?

Maintain copies of:

  • CEU certificates

  • Proof of attendance

  • Completion records

  • Supporting documentation requested by AAPC

Members selected for CEU verification may be asked to provide supporting documentation after submission. AAPC recommends retaining proof of CEUs for at least six months after submission.

Do I Need to Upload Documentation Every Time?

Not always.

Some AAPC educational activities are automatically added to your tracker and may not require documentation during submission.

However, you should still keep copies of your records in case documentation is requested later.
