ABC Mobile - Managing Notifications

Choose which alerts you get in ABC Mobile, or turn them off entirely, in your Subscriptions settings.

What Notifications Do

Subscriptions notify you when new areas and new jobs become available near you. They're optional, and you can change them at any time.

📴Turning Off Notifications

  1. Open the side menu in ABC Mobile.

  2. Tap Preferences.

  3. Go to Subscriptions.

  4. Turn off the notifications you don't want to receive, such as New Areas, New Jobs, or ABC News. Once you've de-selected the notifications you no longer want, select Apply to save your preferences!

🔊 Turning Notifications Back On

Follow the same steps and switch the notifications back on. Turning them off won't affect your standing, your current jobs, or your claimed areas.

Good To Know

  • You won't miss out on work. Even with notifications off, you can open Claim Jobs and Areas in the app any time to see what's available.

  • Notifications help you get there first. Leaving them on is the easiest way to hear about new jobs and areas near you as they come in. You can also change your claiming radius to control which ones show up.

  • Your phone has its own setting. Push notifications can also be turned off through your device settings, which blocks all ABC Mobile alerts, not just the ones in Subscriptions.

  • Notifications aren't the same as Auto Dispatch. If you want to pause new work being sent to you automatically, stop Auto Dispatch instead.
