Update your contact and identity information in the admin and check the correct details before a subscription payment.
This guide applies to the administrator who is logged into Abicart. My profile is available in the admin for Go, Plus, and Pro. It is not a customer card in the store's customer registry, and another employee's profile does not replace the store's owner information.
1. Open and update your own profile
Log in to the admin and check that you are using the correct administrator account.
Click your name in the upper right and select My profile.
Edit the intended contact and address details.
Check the customer type and identity fields according to the next section, and then select Save.
2. Check customer type and identity information
First, check that you are editing the correct administrator profile. For subscription payments, the store's owner and invoice details should be checked in My subscription; another administrator's profile does not replace them. Do not change the customer type just to try to bypass a payment error. A type change alters which identity fields are used and can clear previous company or personal information. Check all visible identity and address fields after an intentional change and before you save.
The screenshot below shows the profile's personal data fields. A selection in the profile's form does not in itself change the business's legal form.
3. Distinguish your profile from the subscription's payment details
My profile applies to the administrator who is logged in. The guide does not apply to customer cards in the store's customer registry. If you are correcting information for a subscription payment, the store's owner information and the invoice details in My subscription need to be correct; another employee's profile does not replace them. Check the recipient and address in the payment step before you continue.
4. Troubleshoot postal code or payment errors
In case of a postal code or payment error: first check the country, postal code, address, and who is listed as the payer. Read the entire error message and check if the payment has already been registered before trying again. If the error persists, provide the store, time, payment method, and error message to support. Do not send card details or login credentials.
Quick start
Open My profile for the correct administrator.
Check contact details, customer type, and associated identity fields before saving.
For subscription payments, check the correct owner, recipient, and invoice address in My subscription.
Check the payment outcome before a new attempt if an error is displayed.
Subscription and access
My profile is part of the admin in Go, Plus, and Pro. Profile details, the store's owner information, the store's customer registry, and the payment provider's verification are separate parts. Use the correct part for the information you need to change.
