Checking people in

Ways to mark someone as attended at your event.

There are three ways someone gets marked as attended, and all three count exactly the same.

At the booth

Your event staff open their link on a phone or iPad, see everyone who RSVP’d, and tap Confirm met. They can add walk-ins, scan a resume, and leave notes without seeing anything else in your workspace.

Self check-in with a QR code

Put a QR code on the table. Scanning it opens a check-in screen where someone taps to check in. Outside the check-in window they see a friendly note that check-in isn’t open yet.

Automatically, during the window

A form submission or resume scan inside the check-in window counts as attendance and is marked that way, so nothing gets missed at a busy booth.

Check-in is always deliberate

An RSVP never becomes a check-in on its own. Someone has to actually check the person in — which is why your attendance numbers mean something.

Walk-ins

Anyone who shows up without RSVPing can be added on the spot with a name and email, and is counted as a walk-in rather than an RSVP.
