Introducing your hiring managers to Abode is just as important as introducing it to your users: it helps your managers understand the technology they will be using and your expectations of them to leverage Abode just as the new hires do in their own journey.
There is no right or wrong way to communicate with your hiring managers about Abode. Whether via email, all-hands meeting, or 1:1 conversations/communication, it is dependent on your team, your processes, and your bandwidth. What is Abode?
Abode is an onboarding experience platform designed to help new hires prepare for their first day at [Your Company], and help hiring managers prepare for their own journey to support new hires during their program or internship. The platform is a centralized place with all the information a new hire needs to know as they ramp up and get started, and a centralized place for a hiring manager to complete evaluation reporting, on-boarding and off-boarding procedures, and any other tasks required to manage the new hire program. Abode has several features that help with setting expectations, facilitating connections, giving feedback, and more. When you register for the platform, you will create a profile and see your journey. Your journey will include: steps that will provide vital information, action items, and other reminders. You may also see a Directory and Forum that will connect you to other managers in the program.
Content
Within the platform and your journey, you may receive general information, reminders, event information, or other tasks you need to complete. You will also have access to a Resource Center for any general documentation, videos, or links. As soon as you register for the platform, you will have 24/7 access so you can return at any time to access your journey. Abode will be your home base, your all-in-one platform for anything related to [Your Company's] program.
Community
You may also see a Directory and Forum in the platform. The Directory is used to build out a profile and view/connect with other hiring managers. The Forum is an online discussion board where you can post questions and interact with your fellow hiring managers.
Notifications
When we add you to Abode, you will receive an email inviting you to register for the platform. You will also receive emails every time a new step in your journey becomes available and when new posts are in the forum. When you create your profile/account, you will have the option to add your phone number to receive text notifications as well.

This email is to notify you that you are being added to Abode. Abode is our new hire communication system, where we will send all pre-hire information, new hire and manager resources, and events.
Our team has started adding [Company Name] new hires in Abode and to provide you with visibility into our communications, we have decided to add you to this platform as well. Once added to Abode, you will receive an email invitation to Abode to create your profile and get started. The invite will be delivered to the email address used to receive today's communication.
Here are a few key things to know about Abode:
You will receive notifications via email once content is available and when tasks are assigned to you. These notifications will come from info@abodehr.com. Please make sure you add this email address to your "trusted email domains" list to ensure you receive these notifications!
The invite that you receive is unique to your account, so please do not share the link with anyone else. If you have issues logging into the platform please leverage the live chat feature within Abode (located at the bottom left-hand corner of your dashboard) or reach out to support@abodehr.com for troubleshooting assistance.
If other members of your team need to be added to Abode and/or if the hiring manager changes, please email [Main Admin Contact] directly.
To register, please create a username/password (using the email address you received the invite to join Abode). Do not use SSO unless specifically guided to do so.
The platform will be the central hub of program resources and communication, so once your account is created, you can return as many times as you would like to review our information. You will be assigned an assortment of tasks throughout the program, as well as provided resources to use at your disposal.
You will be added to a group that includes all hiring managers in [Name of Program or Internship]. Once you have created your account and are in Abode, you will have the ability to chat with other hiring managers in Abode using the Directory and post in the Forum.
