How to Work with the Text Editor

How to Format Text
Once you open the lesson, you will see the text formatting toolbar:


Let's describe all its features:

  1. Paragraph Format – allows you to select the text style.

  2. Bold – use to highlight important words or phrases in bold.

  3. Italic – adds a slanted style to the text, useful for quotes or emphasizing specific words.

  4. Underline – underlines text to make it more noticeable.

  5. More Text – this option lets you customize:

    • Font;

    • Text size;

    • Background color;

    • Text color;

    • Strikethrough;

    • Subscript and superscript.

  6. Ordered List – creates a numbered list for structured presentation of information.

  7. More Paragraph – includes additional options for working with paragraphs.

  8. Insert Link – allows you to insert hyperlinks into the text.

  9. Custom Quote – creates a quote with a custom style.

  10. More Rich – includes the following options:

    • Tooltip – add tooltips

    • Variables – use variables for dynamic content.

    • Emoticon – insert emojis.

    • Special Characters – add special symbols.

    • Toggle Code View – view and edit HTML code​.

  11. Clear Formatting – resets all styles, leaving plain text.

  12. Undo – reverses the last action.

  13. Redo – restores the undone action.

  14. Full screen – expands the editor to full screen for easier work.


How to Add Multimedia to a Lesson

To do this, click on the lesson area, and a “+” symbol will appear. Click on it to select the desired type of multimedia element. Here is the list of available options:

  1. Insert Image – upload an image from your device.

  2. Insert Video – add a video by uploading it or embedding it using the embed code.

  3. Insert Multimedia – insert external multimedia code.

  4. Insert Table – create a simple table to structure and present data.

  5. Insert a PDF File – upload a PDF document for learners to view or download.

  6. Insert File – add any file type from your device.

  7. Insert Audio – upload an audio file to add sound support.

  8. Add Embed – insert an external element using the embed code.

  9. Add Code – insert a code snippet to showcase it in a visual format.

  10. Divider – add a divider to visually separate text blocks.

  11. Dynamic Content – customize lesson content to adapt to each individual learner.

Don’t forget to save all the changes you’ve made to ensure your edits remain in the lessons.
