Follow the steps below in order to terminate an employment:
Search for the employee and go to their profile.
If this employee has several employments, click on Switch Employment and select the one that needs to be terminated.
Click Employment and then Position.
Click the red Termination button.
Select Terminate on the pop-up message.
Enter the last date of employment as per the employee's contract and select a reason for termination.
You will now progress to the Leave page of the termination wizard. You must agree the final leave balance. This should balance to 0.
Click Final Leave Pay to view the details of the final leave payment and make any adjustments as needed.
Click Next to go through the next stages of the termination wizard.
On the Account page, make sure to enter the employee's personal email address. This is important in order for them to receive the email with the credentials needed to log in once they become a leaver.
Once everything is filled in, click on Submit.
β οΈ Important: When an employee is terminated on Education People, their Workspace account will be deactivated. Once they are a leaver they will need to log in directly to Education People rather than via Workspace, which means they will no longer use the link go.accessacloud.com.
