What's new

Candidate email verification - Optional feature

When candidates apply for a job position, they currently receive a verification email that requires them to click on a link to confirm their account. However, we understand that they miss these emails or end up in junk mail, leading them to overlook applications.

To address this, we've introduced an optional feature that allows you to disable candidate verification emails. When you enable it, the application process for candidates remains the same, but they will no longer receive verification emails.

To implement this change in your Access Recruit system, please reach out to our support team.

User export to CSV

We've improved user management with a new export feature. Super users can now easily export a comprehensive list of users from the system in a CSV file.

To access this feature, go to Config then click User Admin, and you'll find the Export button in the top right corner of the page.

New configuration options

We've introduced a range of new configuration options accessible through the Config menu for super users. Previously, these changes required support or consultancy assistance, but now you can make them independently.

  • Privacy Policy - Make changes to your privacy policy.

  • Email Footer - Modify the content and style of your email footer for a consistent appearance across all messages.

  • VMS Search options - Edit the options that candidates can use to search and filter positions on your career website.

  • VMS Display options - The VMS display options are the fields that candidates see about each position on the main page of your career website and in the top left corner within a position opening.

  • RSS Feed options - Edit the RSS values pulled through to the RSS feed.

  • Header JS - Edit the JavaScript in the page header on your career website. For example, you can use it to add analytics tracking tags or custom fonts.

New Export Definition field

We've added a new field - Application Outcome: Reason Text, to export definitions. This allows you to export application outcome notes along with their corresponding reasons, providing you with the data for analysis and reporting.

Facebook link display issue resolved

We've resolved an issue where the Facebook link on job postings wasn't displaying correctly. Your job postings will now show the associated Facebook link.

PDF download issue resolved

We've resolved an issue where PDF files you downloaded from certain web browsers were missing the .pdf file extension.

How to access the update
