This article sets out AccountShark's full refund policy. The official version always lives at accountshark.net/refund.
📋 General policy
The moment you place an order, fulfillment begins. We either deliver your purchase instantly or start coordinating behind the scenes to complete it. Because that work starts as soon as you pay, orders are not eligible for refunds except where a delivery cannot be completed. The exact terms depend on what you ordered.
🎮 Account orders
Account purchases are nonrefundable once an order is placed, except for non-delivery or where a delivery cannot be completed.
Instant Delivery listings: credentials are released the moment you pay. Final and nonrefundable once delivery completes.
Seller-coordinated listings: as soon as you pay we begin coordinating the transfer, so your payment is nonrefundable while fulfillment is underway.
When a refund is issued. Only when a delivery cannot be completed, for example the account is not delivered within the stated time, the seller cannot confirm availability, the login details do not work and we cannot correct them, the promised access (such as full email access) cannot be delivered, or the order fails fraud screening. For login or access problems we first try to resolve them (for example by supplying corrected credentials); a refund follows only if the account cannot be delivered as described.
Issues after delivery. Once an account is delivered the sale is final. Contact support and we review post-delivery concerns case by case. A "not as described" concern can only be assessed while the account is still in the state it was handed over in. Once you have played on it, spent on it, or reset its sign-in details, it can no longer be verified against the listing.
🔐 Refunds vs warranty: refunds apply when a delivery cannot be completed. If a delivered account is later recalled or reclaimed by a previous owner, that is a warranty matter. See How do I file a warranty claim? and What does the account warranty cover?.
✅ Eligibility for refunds
Across all order types, a refund may be approved when:
A delivery cannot be completed (not delivered, or availability unconfirmed).
An order fails our fraud screening.
We cause a significant delay that was not communicated in advance.
A technical problem on our end prevents delivery as described.
Boosts and services: a cancellation may be honored only before any work begins. Once a service is in progress, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion for the portion not yet performed. Account orders move into fulfillment immediately and are not eligible for this window.
🚫 What is not eligible
Delivered accounts or completed services.
An account order already in fulfillment, buyer's remorse, or a change of mind.
The order works as described but did not meet your expectations.
Delays you caused (wrong details, a missed delivery window, or withholding access).
Unauthorized purchases made by a family member or friend.
You used or changed the account after delivery (for example spending on it or resetting its sign-in details).
The account was restricted, suspended, or banned because of how you used it, such as unauthorized automation or third-party software, breaking the game's code of conduct, or drawing publisher enforcement.
Penalties imposed by a game publisher after delivery.
You escalated the problem elsewhere (a public post, a review, or a card chargeback) instead of reporting it to our team.
The warranty coverage period has passed (recall and reclaim claims).
The account was not bought through AccountShark.
Terms of Service violations or fraudulent activity.
Processing fees already incurred.
💰 Refund processing
When a refund is applicable, we issue it immediately upon approval. How long it then takes to appear depends on your payment provider. Each processor has its own timelines, which are outside our control. Refunds go to the original payment method used at checkout unless we agree otherwise with you.
🛡️ Warranty
Some situations are handled outside the refund process. Account recalls and reclaims go through the warranty flow: How do I file a warranty claim? and What does the account warranty cover?.
