Before you can accept payment for eGift cards via your eGift portal, you must configure a payment processor. This guide walks you through setting up a PayPal Standard Business Account.

Ackroo eGift integrates with PayPal so that funds from online gift card purchases deposit directly into your business PayPal account.

Steps to Create Your PayPal Business Account

  1. Sign Up
    Go to the PayPal for Business site and register for a Standard business account (no monthly fee) using your business details.

  2. Complete Account Setup
    On the Account Setup tab, fill in:

    1. Email Confirmation – Verify your email address.

    2. Banking Information – Link your business bank account to receive payouts.

    3. Business Name – Confirm how your company name appears on customer receipts.

    4. (Optional) Withdrawal Limits – Set limits for your account withdrawals.

  3. Notify Ackroo
    Provide Ackroo with the email address registered to your new PayPal Business account.
