Setting Up a Worldline (Bambora) Account for Use With eGift
Before you can accept payment for eGift cards via your portal, you must configure a Worldline (Bambora) merchant account and gateway.
1. Choose Your Merchant Account / Gateway Plan
CAD Merchant Account + Gateway (No setup or monthly fees; $0.25 + 2.90% MDR; 2.95% Amex)
Use this if you need both a Canadian merchant account and gateway:

2. Obtain Your Merchant ID & API Access Passcode
Once your account is active, you’ll need two pieces of information to connect your Bambora account with Ackroo:
Merchant ID
API Access Passcode
Steps to Generate the API Access Passcode
Login to your Bambora portal and navigate to:
Administration > Account Settings > Order SettingsUnder Security/Authorization, click Generate New Code.
Copy or save the new passcode to share with Ackroo.
If you already have an existing API key, simply provide that existing passcode.
Click Update at the bottom of the page to save your new API passcode.
Important: Worldline provides multiple API tokens. Only the Order Settings → Security/Authorization passcode will work with your Ackroo eGift portal. Using any other token will not connect properly.
3. Enabling 3DS2 for Enhanced Security
To enable 3DS2 (3-D Secure 2) authentication:
Request 3DS2 activation from Ackroo Production Support—this configures our backend.
Contact Bambora/Worldline support to ensure your merchant and gateway accounts are configured for 3DS2.
Set your redirect rules in Order Settings to “allow any domain name” until Bambora confirms full 3DS2 integration.

If either side (Ackroo or Bambora) is not fully configured for 3DS2, payments will fail and the checkout process on your eGift portal will not complete.
