Campaigns Overview

Every Ackroo program comes pre-configured with Campaigns—an easy way to reward customers with loyalty dollars each time they make a purchase.

Campaigns are best used alongside your existing marketing efforts. For more information on leveraging loyalty to drive revenue, contact sales@ackroo.com.

There are two main campaign types:

1. Base Campaigns

The Base Campaign defines the default loyalty settings active 24/7/365 across your program. You can configure Basic or Advanced loyalty settings here.

Basic Campaign

  • Reward a percentage of every dollar spent (e.g., 5% yields $5 in loyalty for every $100 spent).

  • Apply overrides for specific businesses or locations without changing the program-wide rate.

How to update:

  1. Sign in at https://manage.ackroo.com and click Campaigns.

  2. In the side menu under Base Campaigns, select Basic.

  3. Adjust the reward percentage for the program, a specific business, or a specific location.

  4. Click Save or Discard.

Note: Changes to base campaigns take effect immediately.

Advanced Campaign

If integrated with Ackroo’s advanced loyalty platform, you can reward based on:

  • Departments (group of SKUs)

  • Individual SKUs (percentage or flat per item)

  • Tender Types (e.g., cash vs. credit multipliers)

  • Promo Codes (apply reward multipliers via codes)

How to configure:

  1. Sign in at https://manage.ackroo.com and select Campaigns.

  2. Choose Advanced in the side menu.

  3. Click Add Loyalty Setting and pick your reward type (Department, SKU, Tender, or Promo Code).

  4. Configure the details and click Save or Discard.

Note: Changes to base campaigns take effect immediately.

2. Scheduled Campaigns

A Scheduled Campaign temporarily overrides base settings for specific dates/times—ideal for time-sensitive promotions.

Supported reward levels: Basic or Advanced (as above).

For step-by-step setup, see Scheduled Campaigns documentation.
