Ackroo Mobile App — Navigation Guide

The Ackroo mobile app (iOS & Android) is fully branded for your business. Customers can present digital Gift & Loyalty cards at the point-of-sale and manage balances—card-free.


1. Initial Sign-Up & App Registration

  1. Tap Sign Up.

  2. Enter First Name, Last Name, a valid Email Address, and Password.

  3. Open the confirmation email and tap Confirm Your Email.

  4. Return to the app, tap Login, and enter your credentials.

Note: Existing physical cardholders can add their cards to transfer balances into their mobile account. See “Manage Cards” below.


2. Cards Tab (Main Screen)

  • Displays your Mobile Account Number, Gift & Loyalty Balances, and Transaction History.

  • To present at checkout, tap the card image—number toggles through three readable formats.

Manage Cards

  • Your mobile account is indicated by a Phone icon next to the number.

  • To add a physical card:

    1. Tap the + icon (top left).

    2. Enter the Card Number (back of card).

    3. Enter the Ackroo ID / Access Code (e.g., 12-12345).

    4. Tap Add Card.

  • Swipe left/right or use arrows to view additional cards.


3. Transfer Balances

  1. Select the card or mobile account using arrows.

  2. Tap the ••• menu icon to open actions.

  3. Tap Transfer Funds.

  4. (Optional) Enable Remove Source Card to delete it after transfer.

  5. In the To field, choose the destination card from the dropdown.

  6. Enter amount and tap Transfer Funds.

4. Locations Tab

  • Displays nearby store locations on a map.

  • Drag to pan; pinch to zoom.

  • Tap a pin to view Name, Address, and Hours.


5. Account (Profile) Tab

Profile

  • Update First/Last Name, Birthdate, Phone Number, and Communication Consent.

  • Email sign-up address can only be changed via your website’s card portal.

Change Password

  • Enter Current Password, then new password (min 8 characters, with at least one uppercase, one lowercase, and one number).


6. More Tab

  • Information: Overview of the program.

  • How It Works: Rules of the rewards program.

  • Support: Opens email to merchant for help.

  • Terms & Conditions: Full program policy.
