Product Guide: Connecting Stripe to Your White-Label Portal
This guide walks you through linking a Stripe account to your white‑label eGift portal—fully self‑serve so you can start accepting payments immediately.

Step 1: Access User Portals
In the Ackroo Anywhere dashboard, go to eGift → User Portals.
Step 2: Select Your Portal
Locate the portal you wish to enable Stripe on and click Modify.
Note: Stripe can only connect to portals in Active status.
Step 3: Initiate Stripe Connect
In the portal’s settings, open the Stripe Connect tab.
Select your Business Location (United States or Canada).
Click Connect to begin Stripe onboarding.
You will be redirected to a Stripe‑hosted form. Complete the required fields there and you will return automatically to Ackroo.
Step 4: Complete Onboarding
Submit Stripe’s form.
Stripe may activate your account immediately or request additional information.
Step 5: Finish Onboarding (If Needed)
If onboarding remains incomplete, click Finish Onboarding on the same page.
You will be directed to Stripe to fulfill missing requirements.
After completion, return to Ackroo to see your updated status.
Step 6: Customer Checkout Flow
On your eGift portal, customers select Pay Now (powered by Stripe).
They enter card details on Stripe’s secure checkout screen.
Upon payment, they are returned to Ackroo with purchase confirmation.

What is Stripe pricing?
2.9% + C$0.30 per domestic transaction
+ 0.8% for international cards
+ 0.5% for manually-entered cards
+ 2% if currency conversion is required

Can I use my existing Stripe account?
Enter your business email during onboarding—Stripe will prompt you to log in if an account exists, or create one if not.
Does Stripe support 3DS2?
Yes, Stripe provides 3DS2 security.
What is the payout schedule?
Default: daily payouts.
Customize schedule in your Stripe Dashboard.
First payout scheduled 7–14 days after first payment (may vary by industry/country).

How do I refund an eGift purchase?
In Ackroo: Unissue the gift card to remove outstanding balance.
In Stripe Dashboard: locate the transaction, click Refund, choose amount and reason, then confirm.
