How-To Guide: Using the Ackroo Gift and Loyalty POS Application on the Terminal
FUND CARD: Load dollars onto a card
GIFT: Enter the desired $ amount and then swipe the card.
LOYALTY: Enter the total purchase amount (pre- or post-tax); swipe the card.
Your loyalty percentage rate (configured in the Program Console) is applied automatically.
PROMO (Manager password required): Enter the $ amount being funded; swipe the card.
REDEEM CARD: Spend dollars from a card
GIFT: Enter the $ amount to spend and swipe the card.
LOYALTY: Enter the $ amount to spend and swipe the card.
GIFT & LOYALTY: Enter the total $ amount to spend across all wallets; swipe the card.
Drains balances in order: Promo → Loyalty → Gift.
ISSUE: Activate and load multiple cards
Activate and swipe up to 25 cards at once, all funded with the same $ value.
Cards must be unissued and unused.
Specify number of cards and $ amount to load.
Load as Gift, Loyalty, or Promo (Manager password required).
CHECK BALANCE
Swipe the card to display current Gift & Loyalty balances summary.
REPRINT
Reprints the receipt for the last transaction only (successful or not).
REFUND: Store credit
Manager password required.
Refund a $ amount onto the card as Gift or Loyalty dollars.
Swipe the card to complete.
Recorded as a “REFUND” in summary reports.
