My terminal is asking for a 6-digit Access PIN

When the Ackroo Anywhere POS application is installed on an Ingenico or Verifone terminal, you may be prompted to enter a 6‑digit terminal activation PIN.

NOTE: Each terminal requires a unique PIN for activation.

Generating an Activation PIN

Only Program, Business, or Location administrators can generate these codes.

    • Select your Business from the dropdown menu.

    • Select your Location from the dropdown menu.

    • Choose a Receipt Profile for this terminal.

    • (Optional) Choose a Menu Profile.

    • Click Continue.

    • If successful, a GREEN banner confirms the PIN is valid.

    • If you see a RED banner, the PIN is invalid. Repeat steps 1–6 to generate a new PIN.

    • On your terminal, enter the 6‑digit PIN at the Ackroo launch screen and press OK.

You are now ready to process Ackroo Gift and Loyalty transactions!

NOTE: PINs expire 720 hours after generation and can be used only once. Ensure your terminal is online and accessible when generating a PIN.
