VIDEO – How to Process Gift Cards on a Virtual Terminal
This quick walkthrough shows you how to use the Ackroo Web Terminal (https://vt.ackroo.com) to manage physical or digital gift cards when you don’t have a POS device on hand.
In this video you’ll learn how to:
Sign in
Go to https://vt.ackroo.com and enter your Ackroo user email and password.
Look up a card
Search by full or partial card number, email, or customer name to pull up balances and history.
Fund a Gift Card
Select Fund → Gift, enter the dollar amount, then process.
Redeem Gift Funds
Choose Redeem → Gift, enter the amount to apply, then complete the transaction.
Redeem Promo / Loyalty Funds
Under Redeem, pick Promo/Loyalty to apply any promotional or loyalty dollars first, then finish off with gift funds if needed.
